We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding at The Barn at Exeter Golf Club, a truly beautiful place with so much charm and history. In 1961, near the beautiful beaches of Lake Huron, a local farmer transformed his farmland into what is now the Exeter Golf Club. Back then, golfers could play all day for just a dollar! Today, the gently rolling 9-hole golf course is a peaceful retreat, just minutes outside the lovely town of Exeter, Ontario—conveniently “a half an hour from everywhere,” including London, Grand Bend, and Stratford.
The Barn, the venue’s stunning clubhouse, is a beautifully restored turn-of-the-century barn that still showcases its original beams, walls, and antique farming tools. Renovated in 2013, it perfectly blends rustic charm with elegant, modern touches. From its cozy atmosphere to the breathtaking views of the golf course, The Barn is the perfect place for us to say “I do” and celebrate with the people we love most.
We can’t wait to share this beautiful, unique venue with you as we make unforgettable memories together on our special day!
WHAT TO EXPECT
The ceremony will be held in the garden, followed by cocktail hour in the garden and on the covered patio. If the weather is cooler that day, the patio will be heated to keep everyone cozy. The celebration will continue indoors for the reception, where we’ll enjoy dinner, dancing, and plenty of fun!
In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be relocated to the covered patio or indoors to ensure everyone’s comfort. Fingers crossed for sunshine, but we’ll be prepared for anything!
Please note, our venue requires a semi-formal dress code. Gentlemen, jackets are not mandatory, but please dress appropriately for the occasion. Ladies, as the ceremony will take place outdoors on grass, we recommend choosing footwear that’s comfortable and suitable for the terrain.
