Our story began in 2017, when we met while volunteering side-by-side as Advanced Medical First Responders with St. John Ambulance in London, Ontario. What started as a friendship quickly grew into something deeper, and soon we were inseparable. In 2020, we took the leap and moved in together just as the world turned upside down. Navigating the challenges of the pandemic as frontline nurses wasn’t easy, but it brought us closer together than ever. Then, in May 2021, Aaron proposed during a magical trip to Cozumel, Mexico – talk about a fairytale moment! Since then, we've moved (a few times!), completed a master's degree and started another one, and continued building a life full of laughter, dreams, and unwavering partnership.
Our passion for adventure has led us to explore Canada’s great outdoors, hiking hidden trails, kayaking glassy lakes and rushing rivers, conquering snowy mountains on skis and snowshoes, and pitching tents under starry skies, creating countless memories along the way. Winter holds a special place in our hearts – Emily introduced Aaron to the thrills of skiing, and Aaron helped Emily turn tentative skating wobbles into graceful glides (well, mostly!). Of course, no venture is complete without Rossi, our tiny adventure dog with a big heart, who’s always ready for the next journey!
Now, we're counting down the days to May 31, 2025, when we'll tie the knot and say "I do,” beginning the next chapter of our story together! We are so excited to celebrate with you and create unforgettable memories together!
